Wang Ming

Research Assistant Professor

true

Dr. Ming Wang obtained his B.Eng. degree in Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Automation from the Honors School at Harbin Institute of Technology in 2016 and Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hong Kong (HKU) in 2021, under the supervision of Prof. Mingxin Huang. He continued his research as a Postdoctoral Fellow and currently a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at HKU.

Dr. Wang’s current interests focus on: (1) development of data/image-driven strategies for accelerated alloy design; and (2) thermomechanical behavior of advanced alloys at high strain rates (Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar).
