Dr. Cuiping Zhang obtained her bachelor’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hong Kong and Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2014. She received her Ph.D. degree from the University of Hong Kong in 2018. Before joining HKU ME as a lecturer, she worked as a researcher and a research senior engineer in Appotronics and Huawei Hisilicon for 6 years.

Dr. Zhang’s research focuses on advanced display systems, novel sensing system, micro/nano fabrication and related TFT&CMOS device modelling as well as circuit design. Dr. Zhang has rich experience in industry-university-research cooperation in the area of advanced electronic system. She has published >10 SCI academic papers and >20 invention patents. She has also achieved the industrialization of 2 research studies.
