In the summer of the third year, students can opt to participate in industrial training. Normally students receive training in the fields of mechanical engineering, building services engineering and manufacturing. Students are able to gain engineering-work-related experience and to learn more about real-life business company operation from internships, which generally last from 6 weeks to more than eight weeks, depending on requirements of different employers.

 

Alternatively, students can opt to take highly specialized courses offered by renowned academic institutions in Mainland China, where they can improve their professional and language skills at the same time. The Tsinghua University is one of those institutions which organize such programs.
