Department of Mechanical Engineering Graduation Party 2025

On July 25, 2025, the Department hosted its’ Graduation Party at the Hong Kong Ocean Park Marriott Hotel, recognizing the outstanding achievements of its graduating students in a welcoming and memorable setting. The Graduation Party celebrates the academic achievements of graduates while encouraging friendship and creating lasting memories. The event serves as a gathering for students, Professors, Faculty, and alummes to strengthen relationships before entering professional life, while also honoring mentors who guided them through their study programme.

Dr. Match Ko, Assistant Head (Teaching & Learning) and MSc(Eng) Programme Director of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, delivered an inspiring opening speech that celebrated the graduates’ achievements and personal growth, encouraged continued learning and leadership, and expressed heartfelt gratitude to all of them. His remarks marked the transition from academic success to meaningful contributions beyond the University.

The event brought together Faculty members, graduating students and alumnus creating a lively atmosphere of celebration, friendship, and shared success. Participants enjoyed a delightful tea reception, engaging in meaningful conversations and fostering a sense of community. The gathering provided a memorable opportunity to honor the hard work and determination of both students and Faculty, marking a proud ending to students' academic journey in our Department.
