Prof. Jiawei Zhou received his BS in Engineering Mechanics from Tsinghua University in 2013, and his MS and PhD from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2015 and 2019, respectively. Afterwards, he worked as a postdoctoral scholar at Stanford University. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Hong Kong. His research interests include first-principles computation, thermal management, energy transport physics, and nanomaterials for clean energy and sustainability. He previously received Wunsch Foundation Silent Hoist and Crane Award for Outstanding Thesis from MIT for his PhD research and is also the recipient of the Best Poster Award at the ASME Society-Wide Micro and Nano Technology Forum from IMECE (2019).
