HKU Team Secures the Third class honour in RAICOM National Final's "Treasure Hunter - Semi-Autonomous Mission"
A team from the University of Hong Kong (HKU) has distinguished itself by winning in the “Treasure Hunter – Semi-Autonomous Mission” at the RAICOM (Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Competition) National Final, which took place this August in Hangzhou.
The winning team members are Lo Tsz Kit Adi (BEng ME Year 3), Chiu Sin Chun Jason (BASc (Applied AI) Year 5), Ahmed, Fahim (BEng CE Year 2), and KHAN, Saleha (BEng BME Year 3). The team was co-supervised by Dr. Match Ko and Dr Yan Wei from the Mechanical Engineering Department.
The RAICOM National Final saw intense competition among 45 universities from across the country. The HKU team’s achievement in the highly specialized semi-autonomous mission underscores their exceptional engineering prowess and innovative approach to complex robotics challenges on a national stage.
