Curriculum Structure
The MSc(Eng) in Innovative Design and Technology curriculum is crafted to cultivate advanced design thinking, technical proficiency, and creative problem-solving skills. This programme is ideal for those aspiring to drive innovation and technological advancement across diverse industries.
Programme Requirements
To successfully complete the IDT curriculum, candidates must accumulate a total of 72 credits distributed as follows:

Course Selection Guidelines
- Total Courses: Candidates are required to complete 8 courses, including at least 4 courses from List A.
- Capstone Experience: Completion of a dissertation is mandatory, providing a platform for independent research and innovation.
- Electives: Students may select up to 2 elective courses from other taught postgraduate programmes within the Faculty of Engineering, encouraging interdisciplinary learning and broader academic exposure.
- Approval: All course selections must be approved by the Course Coordinators to ensure a cohesive and academically rigorous study plan.
