Dr. Shengnan WANG obtained her Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering and Technology from Central South University in 2017, and her PhD in Chemical Engineering from Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2022. From 2022 to 2025, she conducted postdoctoral research in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at City University of Hong Kong. In August 2025, she joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Hong Kong as a Research Assistant Professor. Her research focuses on the design of advanced materials and electrolytes for next-generation flow battery technologies, as well as the development of novel flow-battery-based approaches for energy storage and resource recovery.
