Dr. Yuan Wang is currently a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Hong Kong (HKU). Previously, he had been working as a senior Scientist and Center Manager of the Nano-scale Science and Engineering Center (NSEC) for Scalable and Integrated Nanomanufacturing (SINAM) at University of California, Berkeley, and later the President of Nanjing Nanotech Institute. He has authorized over 100 scholarly articles in top scientific journals including Science, Nature, Physical Review Letters, Nano Letters, etc. His paper has been widely cited for more than 20,000 times by researchers from more than 40 countries. Since 2019 he has been listed in Highly Cited Researchers from Clarivate Analytics recognizing leading researchers (top 1% by citations) from all around the world. In addition, his work is extensively reported by major media, including Discover magazine, TIME magazine, Science Daily, VOA News, CBC News, MSNBC, ABC News, FOX News, Scientific American, USA Today, National Geographic, New York Times, BBC News, Los Angeles Times and so on.
